Lessons Prices Vary. In General the Following Guidelines apply. Note, All Lessons Are Paid In Advanced. Other Pricing is Available on a Pay-As-You-Go Basis, Just Ask.
Standard Terms and Cancellation Policy
All prices quoted are "introductory prices" and may change at any time without notice. These terms and conditions may change at any time, without notice.
Lessons can be arranged for Singles or Couples. Often Couples get individual lessons and then couples coaching to help them dance perfectly together. Singles lessons are available for both Men and Women. Pricing is the same whether I teach a couple or a single. You are paying for my time not on a per person basis.
Lessons are normally 45 minutes in length. Double lessons can be arranged if desired. Please note, if you are late arriving, your time will be shortened as I will not allow other students to have their lessons delayed to allow for a tardy student.
Please Note, I am often teaching and can't answer the phone during lessons. Leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I have a few minutes. I check emails every evening.
My schedule changes almost daily as new students start and others move on. See my teaching schedule for my teaching hours and when we talk we can work out a specific time schedule for you.
Primarily at Dance Boulevard in Cambell as well
as other locations in the San Jose area.
Experienced Students will know their own dress requirements.
For New Students, you should wear comfortable clothes that will allow for full movement including raising your arms and taking full steps forward, backward and sideways. Shoes should be comfortable. Women just starting might not want to wears heals yet and until they get use to getting their feet out of the way, women should wear closed toe shoes as there will be inevitable stepping on toes at first. Trust me, you will learn quickly how to keep your feet out of harm's way.
Because I block my time for my students, I require a 24 hour notice of cancellation in order to make best use of my time. To avoid a $60 cancellation fee, please call at least 24 hours in advance if you aren't going to be able to make your lesson. Also, I try to be fair to all my students and classes start on time. If a student is late, I cannot continue into another students time in order to teach a full lesson.
This is a very individual thing. If there is no time frame involved and you are just learning dance for your own pleasure, you should consider weekly lessons. This will give you time to practice each week. If you would like to progress faster, 2 or more lessons a week are often a good choice. If you are preparing for a wedding or another event we can tailor your lessons to meet your needs.
Practice, Practice, Practice. If you want the most from your lessons, you need to practice between lessons. You can do this on your own or with a partner, at your home or at the studio. In any case, it is a very important part of the process.
